HomeTown Bank's marketing director and Chas. Lunsford's president, Carolyn and Jason Kiser, merged their skills and entrepreneurial desires with a love of ice cream to create Blue Cow Ice Cream Co. - an award winning craft ice cream scoop shop.
Opening Blue Cow in May of 2017, the scoop shop quickly became a favorite place to gather with family and friends for both locals and tourists alike. The development of the unique and delicious flavors is thanks to Jason's oversight of the culinary process. A student of ice cream manufacturing at Penn State University and University of Guelph in Ontario, Canada, Jason has an in depth knowledge of the science and techniques behind producing a quality ice cream product.
Meanwhile, Carolyn's marketing background helps ensure the community is aware of Blue Cow's unique offerings. When they are not busy with their careers, they enjoy their favorite gig of all – being parents to Campbell and Harry who gladly take part in taste-testing.
